"SHEreads"
She- Society for Help & Empowerment took initiative to create the first English-language book club based in Thessaloniki "SHEreads", hoping to promote the love of reading and to engage in dialogue around different topics.
Every time we pick a book a wonderful journey of diversity begins. Romantic and edgy. We share ideas, thoughts and we learn by analysing current and past social issues. There is no need to know everything about books, just to be open to reading and meeting new people!
We dive into captivating stories, share insights and explore meaningful themes in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Our small group welcomes everyone who loves good stories that inspire, uplift, and spark engaging conversations. Whether you're looking to unwind with a short story or dive into deeper messages, we’re here to discover it all—one book at a time!
Our first meeting will take place at 20:00, November 27th, at "7 Ktimata+" Wine Bar (Kastritsiou 5).
Due to the limited time until the first meeting, we attach Kate Chopin's "The Story of an Hour», a short story for us to discuss over a glass of wine.
