On May 23rd, at the WE cultural venue, SHE – Society for Help & Empowerment participated in the Lost Dolls Festival — an initiative that proves how art can give a voice to those who are often unheard.
People from the street culture community came together with a common goal: to help reduce the rise in violence that leads to abusive behaviors and the loss of human life.
The proceeds from the festival's activities were donated to the Irida Women’s Center, supporting their work with survivors of gender-based violence.
As a small token of appreciation for the incredible work they do, we offered the women at Irida a little “shelter” in the form of a booklet – the BOOK OF BOWER – filled with wishes and supportive messages for abused women, written by all those who stand with us in our initiatives.
