A performance by Theda Kaidoglou in collaboration with  SHE- Societ for Help & Empowerment

The literary work The Young Man by Annie Ernaux is presented in the form of a monologue within a free-form performance. It narrates the romantic relationship between the author and a man significantly younger than herself, as the past resurfaces through meaningful coincidences. An event that left a mark on the narrator in her youth is redefined, and an entire era is revived through this unique and deeply formative connection. The lover becomes both an initiate of pleasure and a tracker of time. The author surrenders to a brief, dense, and intense experience, at the end of which she emerges more evolved in life—and above all, in her writing.
